Spurs looking for Lo Celso swap deal

Tottenham have been exploring a swap deal for Giovani Lo Celso, according to a report by The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

The Lowdown: Absence from London derby

Lo Celso’s absence from Spurs’ matchday squad in Sunday’s London derby against Chelsea provoked some fans to question the Argentine’s transfer status ahead of deadline day, with just a week remaining of the window.

[web_stories_embed url=”https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/web-stories/spurs-latest-updates-5/” title=”Spurs latest updates!” poster=”” width=”360″ height=”600″ align=”none”]

Amid rumours over whether he was able to play against the Blues, the 25-year-old took to Instagram to share that he was in “100 per-cent good physical condition”, meaning he was available for Antonio Conte’s selection.

During the Italian’s post-match conference after his side suffered a 2-0 defeat, the manager was questioned about Lo Celso’s future, with his response sparking further speculation as he said: “I selected the players for this game and this question is one for the club to answer.”

The Latest: Spurs looking for Lo Celso swap deal

According to Ornstein for The Athletic, Spurs have been exploring the possibility of a swap deal for the Argentina international as the club look set for a busy end to the January transfer window.

It is becoming increasingly evident that Conte is looking to reshape his midfield this season as a myriad of transfer rumours involving Tottenham players in that position have arisen, including the mooted departures of Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli.

The Verdict: A failed hefty transfer?

Having suffered knee and shinbone injuries, Lo Celso has struggled for Premier League game-time this season, with just two starts and seven substitute appearances thus far.

The midfielder arrived on a £15m loan fee in 2019 before the transfer was confirmed on a permanent basis, as the Lilywhites splashed out an extra £27.3m in a bid to build a stronger midfield, also bringing in club-record signing Ndombele three years ago.

Despite the hefty transfer fee, Lo Celso has been unable to make a considerable impact since arriving at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and with Conte set for a midfield overhaul, the Argentine could be added to the list of potential departures.

If a swap deal has not been completed before the January deadline, the midfielder could be waving goodbye in the summer unless his first team prospects drastically improve in the meantime.

Injured Ryan Harris targets India ODIs

Ryan Harris, the injured fast bowler, is desperate to prove his fitness for the India one-day series in October so he can enhance his Ashes credentials

Peter English18-Aug-2010Ryan Harris, the injured fast bowler, is desperate to prove his fitness for the India one-day series in October so he can enhance his Ashes credentials. There were fears for Harris when he left England in July for knee surgery less than a year after a previous operation, but he has already started running and plans to be bowling in the next fortnight.”I’m definitely aiming for India,” Harris told Cricinfo. “I was hoping to be up for selection for the Test series but I’ve been told that’s a bit soon. I won’t have had the volume of bowling I’d need to go into a Test match, so I’m aiming for the one-day series.”Harris transformed into a dependable international bowler during a highly successful six-month run and is one of a core of fast bowlers on the comeback trail. Ben Hilfenhaus returned from knee tendonitis against Pakistan in England last month and Peter Siddle has been picked in Victoria’s Champions League squad for the upcoming event in South Africa. If Siddle goes well in that tournament he could also be a contender for a spot in the one-day squad for the three ODIs in India, which begin after the two Tests in the first half of October. Harris won his initial promotion due to Siddle’s injury but quickly became a valuable member of the limited-overs side, as well as appearing in his first two Tests against New Zealand. The knee injury was poorly timed, coming just before the Pakistan Tests, and he knows where he now stands in the pecking order. “At the moment, [Doug] Bollinger, Hilfenhaus, [Mitchell] Johnson, Siddle, I’m definitely behind those four and me and Clint McKay are vying for that next spot,” he said. “I always said I was in there as a replacement for those guys who were injured and those guys were doing pretty well before they were injured.”After the unscheduled lay-off Harris is “refreshed and ready to go”. He is pleased he got a longer break following a busy campaign, while being disappointed that the cartilage in his right knee forced him to give up his Test spot. “I really wanted to try and push through those Tests [against Pakistan] because I saw those as leading into this series against India and into our summer,” he said. “I guess when I look back now it has been good, but I look back to Christmas last year and I hadn’t played any cricket. So I was fresh and keen to play as much as I could.”Harris entered with consecutive five-wicket hauls against Pakistan in January and remained in form until the injury intervened following 10 wickets in the England series. In between those ODI engagements he collected nine victims in Tests at Wellington and Hamilton, an initiation which included bowling into a 100kph wind at the Basin Reserve.”That was probably the hardest spell of bowling in my career,” he said. “I wouldn’t take it back though. If it means bowling in a Test, I’ll do it.” The gutsy contribution earned him more respect than the batch of wickets.Over the past couple of years Harris has gained a couple of kilograms and a few kilometres of pace, putting him in the mid-140s. Add in some late swing and seam and he is an extremely tricky prospect. He will definitely be considered for the Ashes, although the selectors seem to be leaning towards an initial pace trio of Siddle, Johnson and Hilfenhaus.”The best thing for me is to hope I’m fit for India, and if I get picked for the one-day series to try my best over there and hopefully get back to where I was bowling,” Harris said. “If not, the season for Queensland looks exciting anyway. I’ll try to bowl my heart out there and be ready to go if someone isn’t performing or gets injured.” Just like he did last season.

Man Utd eyeing Wolves star Ruben Neves

Manchester United have been handed an update in their attempts to sign Wolves star Ruben Neves in this January transfer window.

What’s the story?

According to reports earlier this month, it was suggested that Ralf Rangnick’s side had their sights set on the Portugal international as they looked to bolster their midfield options.

Now, it’s being claimed that Wolves are feeling more confident about keeping hold of the midfielder before deadline day next week, and that it would only really take an extraordinary offer for him to leave.

Man Utd’s new Paul Scholes

With United fans not exactly the biggest fans of the ‘McFred’ partnership in midfield – they came in for some immense criticism in the 5-0 defeat to Liverpool earlier this season – a move for Neves would see the club get the closest thing they have had to Paul Scholes.

Neves has long been the midfield orchestrator for Wolves, and in the seasons he has been with them, he has not slipped below an average of 1.6 shots, 1.6 tackles or 1.5 interceptions per game, via WhoScored.

It’s no wonder he’s been likened to the playing style of ex-Liverpool legend Xabi Alonso and described as a “deep-lying orchestrator” as well as a “pure talent.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Scholes comparisons have also been made, with former United man Paul Parker outlining the similarities between the two just last summer.

He said: “When you talk about someone striking the ball, there’s only one player I can remember doing that, and that’s Paul Scholes.

“If he was playing for a Manchester United with the quality around him, you will see his game improve… players come to United and lift another level. Someone like Neves, coming to play with his countryman Fernandes, you’ll have someone who can play in deep areas and United have lacked that for a long time.”

And, After watching him score a stunning goal against Espanyol in the Europa League back in 2020, Wolves journalist Joe Edwards said: “Ruben Neves, you absolute beauty! That is just pure talent, an artist at work. Sheer excellence. No words can do it justice. It’s just phenomenal. And it’s not the first time. Won’t be the last either.”

The £36m-rated star would bring some added quality to United’s midfield.

Meanwhile, this star would be the ideal Paul Pogba replacement…

Dhoni's Chennai seek victory for one last time

The Warriors are hungry for success but standing between them and Champions League glory is a Chennai team that is determined to triumph for one last time

The Preview by Sriram Veera in Johannesburg26-Sep-2010Match factsSunday, September 26
Start time 1730 (1530 GMT)The Champions League final will be this Chennai outfit’s last competitive game ahead of the IPL player auction in November•AFPBig PictureIt’s tempting to bill the final as the clash of captains: Davy Jacobs v MS Dhoni. It makes sense too. Jacobs is an interesting character. He’s extremely driven and has always wanted captaincy. He thinks it’s his destiny to lead this Warriors side. They hadn’t won a thing for 18 years until he came along. It’s team. It’s his passion, his life. And he is a fiercely ambitious young man.Jacobs hasn’t played a game for South Africa yet but, when asked what his plans are, he said he would like to be the vice-captain to Johan Botha in the Twenty20 international team. And there was no trace of arrogance. He said it as though it was a given and, in his mind, it is. A couple of days ago South Africa’s Test, ODI and Twenty20 sides were selected for the home series against Zimbabwe and the tour of the UAE. Jacobs wasn’t in them. Rest assured, he won’t stop busting his gut till he gets in. He’s that kind of a man.Tonight, after the successful semi-final, he said: “The team that wants it more will win tomorrow.” This is where this gets complicated. If this was just another final, it would not be far-fetched to say that Jacobs desires victory more than Dhoni does. But it’s not just another final. It’s the last time that this group of players will play together for Chennai and Dhoni has said he wants a perfect farewell. “Emotionally we are quite attached but unfortunately we won’t be able to retain the same team. We want to do well as this is the last tournament. The way we have gelled in the last three years [is great].”Dhoni’s leadership has its share of admirers. He tries to ensure that he appears calm in the middle, he knows his teams’ weaknesses, he definitely knows its strengths and, like most successful captains, he gets his share of luck.It will perhaps come down to the pitch then. Jacobs said the Wanderers track will offer pace and bounce and he expects Makhaya Ntini to fire on the big day. But things even out. Dhoni has Doug Bollinger and Albie Morkel, who returned from injury and produced an excellent spell against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The edge in the seam attack will be with Chennai if Morkel can reprise that semi-final performance. He has often failed to be consistent in the Twenty20 format. Chennai’s spin attack comprises Muttiah Muralitharan and R Ashwin, Warriors have Nicky Boje and Johan Botha. Advantage Chennai? And so we come to the batting. Chennai didn’t have to face the pace of Dale Steyn in the last game and ended up with a massive total. Can Ntini and co strike fear in their camp? But Chennai do bat deep, at least deeper than Warriors. It’s difficult to pick a winner.
Team newsBoth teams don’t have any injury problems and are likely to go with unchanged sides.Chennai(probable): 1 M Vijay, 2 Michael Hussey, 3 Suresh Raina, 4 S Badrinath, 5 MS Dhoni (capt & wk), 6 S Anirudha, 7 Albie Morkel, 8 Doug Bollinger, 9 R Ashwin, 10 Muttiah Muralitharan, 11 L BalajiWarriors (probable): 1 Davy Jacobs (capt), 2 Ashwell Prince, 3 Colin Ingram, 4 Justin Kreusch, 5 Mark Boucher (wk), 6 Craig Thyssen, 7 Johan Botha, 8 Nicky Boje, 9 Rusty Theron, 10 Makhaya Ntini, 11 Lonwabo Tsotsobe.Watch out for …Ashwell Prince has been almost anonymous but he can be the guy who turns it on for Warriors in the final. He is the man who walked up his coach last year and said he wanted to open. He starred in the final of both the Pro20 and Pro-40 tournaments. While the attention will be on the explosive Jacobs, it might be Prince who performs the jailbreak against Chennai. His coach Russell Domingo says he has not seen a more determined cricketer than Prince. “He is calm and brings so much stability to this youthful team.”
Albie Morkel can make or break the game tomorrow. He bowled a fast spell in the last game during which he troubled Bangalore with seam movement and bounce. But Morkel’s game can also disintegrate quickly. He is far from consistent and his contest with the Warriors’ openers could decide the game.Quotes”Nicky Boje has a couple of ODI tons as an opener. And Botha can bat. So I am not worried that Botha is at No 6. It has worked for us so far.”

Sky Sports drop big Spurs transfer claim

Tottenham Hotspur fans shouldn’t expect any more incomings after the likely arrivals of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski on deadline day…

What’s the word?

That’s according to ever-reliable Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge, who issued a fresh claim on Spurs’ plans for the final day of the January transfer window to GIVEMESPORT.

The north London outfit have reportedly agreed on a double swoop to sign the two Juventus stars, with the Uruguay international joining permanently for around £20m and the Swedish attacker arriving on an initial loan with an option to buy.

But it seems as if that’ll be the only activity for sporting director Fabio Paratici and the club’s recruitment team.

“It’ll be interesting to see who goes out of Spurs as well tomorrow because that might have an impact on maybe one more deal, but what I was told this morning was that if the two Juve ones happen, anything else would probably be a bit of a surprise.”

Worrying news!

Heading into the final few weeks of the window, it was reported that manager Antonio Conte was keen to bolster his squad with a trio of signings in three key positions.

This would fall short of this quite substantially.

[snack-amp-story url = “https://www.footballfancast.com/web-stories/tottenham-hotspur-thfc-spurs-transfer-rumours-gossip-conte-paratici-levy-updates” title=”Read the latest Spurs news, transfer updates and much, much more!”]

Following a meeting with the board, a ‘new midfielder, striker and wing-back are expected to be the priority this month,’ revealed football.london. Only Bentacur fits the profile of one of these three roles.

Of course, this rebuild at Hotspur Way is going to take two or three – maybe more – transfer windows to sort out but the fact that Conte has only lost once in the league with this current squad since his arrival in November speaks volumes.

They are on the cusp of fighting for a place in the top four and that could seriously be bolstered by the arrival of more players this month, and then if Spurs are back in the Champions League, they can attract better players. The knock-on effect surely outweighs the financial risk.

But now time is running out and those around N17 will have to accept that it’s likely to be just two players in, though the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso could all depart by the 11pm deadline.

So whilst two signings is encouraging, it’s not enough and that’ll leave many supporters bitterly disappointed, if not livid with the board, whom they have regularly protested against.

'I was a victim of politics' – Shane Bond

Shane Bond has said he became “victim of politics” when discarded by his cricket board for selection into the national team after he signed a contract with the Indian Cricket League

ESPNcricinfo staff27-Oct-2010Shane Bond, the former New Zealand fast bowler, has said he became a “victim of politics” when he was discarded by his cricket board after he signed a contract with the unofficial Indian Cricket League (ICL). Bond has said he had no regrets over his decision to play in the ICL but has admitted to being let down by New Zealand Cricket (NZC), which, he claims, had contractually allowed for participating in the league but backed out when the ICC intervened.”What I’ll never understand is why it had to be one or the other, ICL or playing for New Zealand, especially when I received a cast-iron assurance that I could do both, and my contract with New Zealand Cricket certainly allowed for it,” Bond said in his book . “In the end I became a victim of politics.”As distasteful as that might be, I could learn to live with that, but what I can’t live with is the suggestion that in the end I didn’t want to play for my country.”Bond signed with the ICL in January 2008 and was not considered for the national team for nearly two years due to his involvement with the unauthorised league. He made his international comeback in June 2009 when NZC allowed players to return to the national fold on the condition that they terminate their ICL contract.Bond, who played for Delhi Giants, was earlier in the year, snapped up by IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, who bid US$750,000 for him at the auction. He still stands by his decision to play in the ICL though. “One thing I’ll never regret is signing to play in the Indian Cricket League. Not at all. I’ve achieved security for my family and in the long term that is more important than a few Test and one-day caps.”Although I had been on a good contract by New Zealand standards, I hadn’t got rich out of the game. I’d done all right, obviously, but I simply hadn’t played long enough to accumulate the sort of income that would provide long-term security for my family once my career ended.”Bond recalled the discussion he had with NZC chief Justin Vaughan when he was told his contract with the board would be terminated due to his links with the ICL. “‘Excuse me?’ was about the only response I could come up with,” Bond said. “So let’s get this straight, it was okay for NZC to be in breach of this regulation as long as the wrong people didn’t find out? Or had they just not done their homework properly? I admit I lost it a bit here and, for the first and only time, I swore at Justin.”Bond said he opted against the legal route out of consideration for himself, his board and his team-mates even though it could have worked in his favour. “There was talk that India would not honour their commitment to tour here in 2009, and that other New Zealand guys who had signed with the IPL would have their contracts torn up,” he said. “I would have suffered, NZC would have suffered, and my mates would have suffered. In the end it was better just to suck it up and move on.”

Bild drop Erling Haaland to Man City update

As per Bild, later translated and relayed by Sport Witness, a big transfer update has come to light involving Borussia Dortmund star Erling Braut Haaland and Manchester City.

The Lowdown: City chasing striker signing…

The Sky Blues’ latest triumph, a hard-fought 1-0 victory away to Everton, wasn’t pretty on the eye but comes as a huge three points as Pep Guardiola’s side maintain their position at the top of the Premier League.

[web_stories_embed url=”https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/web-stories/man-city-latest-developments-2/” title=”Man City latest developments!” poster=”” width=”360″ height=”600″ align=”none”]

Phil Foden’s opportunistic close-range finish in the final 10 minutes was enough to seal a precious Goodison Park win and extend the gap between City and title rivals Liverpool to six points.

Surviving a late handball scare, Guardiola’s men arguably could have put the game to bed before that point, with the English champions having been denied on numerous occasions by Toffees keeper Jordan Pickford.

City have been superb again this season with their use of the false nine system, but a prolific, world class striker with physical presence up front could be the final missing piece of the jigsaw.

As such, the club and sporting director Txiki Begiristain have been tipped by reliable sources to sign a forward as Bild share the latest update on Haaland.

The Latest: Man City turn attention to Haaland…

According to the German source, City have now turned their attention to signing the Dortmund superstar after cooling interest in Harry Kane, who the Citizens believe is joining bitter rivals Manchester United.

Furthermore, in a promising claim, Begiristain and co can offer Haaland ‘exactly what he wants’ in the form of title contention and can ‘easily’ pay his €35m (£29.4m) per year wage demands and his €75m (£63m) release clause.

The Verdict: Get it done…

Rated at around £135m by Transfermarkt, the fact that City can sign him for lesss than half of that amount due to his clause makes this move a real no-brainer.

Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola, who also represents ex-City fan favourite Mario Balotelli, could be a slight obstacle given his and Guardiola’s disdain for one another over the years, but a compromise to sign the Norway star simply must be struck.

The 21-year-old’s 16 goals and six assists in just 14 Bundesliga appearances this season highlight that he is a menace in the final third, and Haaland’s towering 6 foot 4 stature comes as an added bonus.

Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk heaped praise on the ‘special’ forward late last year, and it’s safe to say that he could come as a mega signing for the Sky Blues.

Journalist criticises Alex Mowatt display

Journalist Steve Madeley has laid into West Brom midfielder Alex Mowatt’s ineffective performance in his side’s 4-0 defeat away to Nottingham Forest.

The Lowdown: Baggies humbled at Forest

Steve Bruce’s side made the trip to the City Ground on Monday evening, looking to pick up a rare positive result in an increasingly disappointing season.

The Baggies were thumped by their promotion-chasing opponents, however, trailing 3-0 at half-time, not helped by Darnell Furlong’s red card.

Forest added a fourth goal after the break, with the defeat leaving Bruce’s languishing 12th in the Championship table and effectively ending their playoff chances.

The Latest: Madeley critical of Mowatt

Mowatt had a bad evening, with Sofascore noting that his total of 23 touches was comfortably fewer than goalkeeper David Button managed (43), and Madeley took to Twitter to criticise his efforts:

“Molumby on for Mowatt, who has had a poor night.”

The Verdict: Can this season end?

After such confidence at the start of the season, when Valerien Ismael arriving as manager and automatic promotion expected by many, this has turned into a dismal campaign.

Mowatt perhaps sums it all up, also coming in with big expectations but not matching the hype, providing just six direct goal involvements and often frustrating fans.

For West Brom to be 12th in the league with the squad they have is simply not good enough and there must be question marks over Bruce’s future moving forward.

The right decisions need to be made in the summer, in terms of the manager and playing personnel, ensuring the Baggies produce a far stronger campaign next time around.

Victoria breeze to comfortable success

Victoria, the defending champions, started their Sheffield Shield campaign with a commanding eight-wicket victory over an out-classed Western Australia

ESPNcricinfo staff13-Oct-2010
ScorecardLuke Pomersbach’s 89 was in vain as Western Australia were well beaten•Getty ImagesVictoria, the defending champions, started their Sheffield Shield campaign with a commanding eight-wicket victory over an out-classed Western Australia. The Bushrangers controlled the contest at the WACA and were left needing only 62 for the success after the hosts were dismissed for a fighting 400 shortly after lunch.Luke Pomersbach was responsible for avoiding the innings loss as his 89 boosted the Warriors along with some steady contributions from Ashley Noffke (25) and Ryan Duffield (31). They began the final day at 5 for 271 but lost Luke Ronchi and relied on Pomersbach until he was last-man out, stumped off David Hussey.Hussey and Peter Siddle joined Damien Wright and Will Sheridan in taking two wickets, while Darren Pattinson finished the game with nine victims. Pattinson set up the victory with his 8 for 35 in the first innings and Michael Hill (17) finished it with two sixes of Michael Beer’s last three balls. Nick Jewell was the first casualty, cutting Michael Hogan to gully on 20, and Aaron Finch went on 26 slicing to third man.

Goa ride on Pinto's maiden century

Round-up of the first day of the third round of the Ranji Trophy Plate League

ESPNcricinfo staff17-Nov-2010Group AA combination of rain and bad light curtailed play on day one in five of the six third round Plate League matches. In the one match that did see a complete 90-over day’s play, Goa’s Reagan Pinto scored his maiden first-class century, taking his team to 315 for 4 against Jharkhand in Porvorim. Goa’s problem this season has been their first innings scores. They managed to draw both their first two matches, but conceded first-innings leads and as a consequence have just two points. Goa’s captain Sagun Kamat decided to bat first and would have feared another poor total after he was dismissed with the score on 4. Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan and Vaibhav Naik put on 87 for the second wicket to set a solid platform and then Pinto and Ajay Ratra capitalised. Ratra, whose 204 not out in Goa’s last match against Rajasthan took him to the top of this season’s run charts, got 54 off 62 balls, while Pinto hit 12 fours in his 105.Tripura crumbled to 122 for 6 as Hyderabad seamer Pagadala Naidu took 4 for 25 in his second first-class match. Play on day one at the Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad was reduced to 54 overs, but that was enough for the home team to take an advantage into day two. Tripura’s batting has really struggled this season: their highest score has been 255 and have been bowled out twice for less than a hundred. Things were no different on Wednesday as Naidu took three quick wickets to have Tripura wobbling at 42 for 3. Opener Rajib Saha waged a lone battle, getting 71, but wickets kept falling at the other end and when Saha fell to left-arm spinner Lalith Mohan, Tripura, who have no points so far this season, were staring at another batting failure.Only four overs were bowled at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in the Group A top-of-the-table match between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, as rain washed out play. MP put Rajasthan – who have scored 400-plus totals in each of the two innings they have played this season -into bat and Akash Chopra and Vineet Saxena reached 4 for 0 before play was stopped. Madhya Pradesh have made just one change to the side that beat Goa in their last encounter, bringing in seamer Anand Rajan for Ishwar Pandey. Rajasthan offspinner Madhur Khatri and legspinner Vivek Yadav come in for their first game of the season, replacing left-arm spinner Gajendra Singh and seamer Raman Chahar.Group BKerala seamers Sony Cheruvathur and Prasanth Parameswaran struck three times each to reduce Vidarbha to 134 for 7 before bad light stopped play on day one in Malappuram. Vidarbha, who were bowled out for 61 in the second innings of their previous match against Maharashtra, continued to struggle with the bat and lost their first four wickets for 21, with Cheruvathur and Parameswaran taking two scalps each. Opener Akshay Kolhar held firm through the early collapse and got to his second half-century of the season, putting together a 67-run stand for the fifth wicket with Himanshu Joshi. The two then fell in the space of ten overs and Ranjit Paradkar fell to left-arm spinner Sreekumar Nair before the umpires called off play after 61 overs.Maharashtra’s batsmen were cooling their heels until tea, as rain delayed play in Visakhapatnam, but were then faced with a storm from the Andhra Pradesh bowlers to be reduced to 66 for 4 at the end of day one. Andhra’s leading wicket-taker this season, P Vijaykumar, dismissed Ameya Shrikhande in the second over of the match, and then seamer Gnaneswara Rao got Sangram Atitkar and Ankit Bawne out for ducks. Maharashtra still have their season’s leading run-getter Harshad Khadiwale at the wicket on 39 but need a recovery act tomorrow if they are to maintain their 100% winning record.Fading light was again a problem in the Group B bottom-of-the-table clash between Services and Jammu & Kashmir at the Harbax Singh Stadium in Delhi where just 43 overs of play was possible. Services ended the day at 119 for 2 after electing to bat. Tahir Khan’s first first-class innings for two years didn’t last long as he was out caught behind to Samiullah Beigh. J&K seamer Raman Dutta dismissed Sumit Singh before Jasvir Singh and Sarabjit Singh put up an unbeaten 50-run stand.
