390 conselheiros do Atlético-MG se reuniram na sede do clube, na manhã desta segunda-feira, para a votação do projeto de construção do estádio do Galo. A proposta prevê uma arena com capacidade para 41.800 torcedores. O terreno comprado pela construtora MRV e doado ao Atlético para a idealização do projeto, que será um dos maiores da história do Galo, fica no bairro Califórnia, localizado na região Noroeste de Belo Horizonte.

Na porta da sede do clube, torcedores manifestavam seu apoio a favor da obra com músicas, camisas, bandeiras e faixas. Conselheiros que chegavam ao local, recebiam o incentivo de quem aguardava o sim do lado de fora já com fogos de artifícios na mão. Nos momentos finais da votação, os torcedores presentes realizaram uma contagem regressiva e a festa foi tamanha quando o parecer favorável foi decretado.

A reunião começou às 8h30 e tinha previsão de término apenas para às 21h. Porém, a outorga saiu às 14h37, quando o placar contabilizava 260 votos a favor e 9 contra e Alexandre Kalil, ex-presidente do clube e prefeito de Belo Horizonte, decretou a aprovação do projeto ao encerrar a votação. Apesar de 389 conselheiros terem o direito de votar, batava 260 votos ‘sim’ para que o estádio fosse erguido.

O projeto foi apresentado logo nos minutos iniciais da reunião e os presentes defenderam suas opiniões durante um debate. A principal polêmica da discussão sobre a aprovação da obra ficou por conta da venda de 50,1% do Shopping Diamond Mall. Porém, ao chegar à sede do Galo, o prefeito da cidade eliminou qualquer parecer contrário à construção da arena.

– O resumo de tudo é o seguinte: se shopping fosse bom, o Barcelona tinha cinco e o Real Madrid tinha cinco. Então shopping não é bom. Bom é estádio – declarou Alexandre Kalil.

Ricardo Guimarães, um dos principais apoiadores da construção do estádio próprio do Atlético-MG chegou logo cedo na sede do clube e mencionou a importância da aprovação do projeto para a história do Galo.

– É um dia muito importante para a história do Atlético. É um passo enorme para o Atlético se manter grande para sempre. Vai ser um diferencial do Atlético daqui para frente – afirmou.

A obra para a edificação do estádio custará cerca de R$ 410 milhões aos cofres do Atlético-MG e seus parceiros. A verba será arrecadada a partir da venda de 50,1% do Shopping Diamond Mall (R$250 milhões), com R$ 60 milhões de naming rights para a MRV, e em lugares cativos e camarotes, que renderá RS 100 milhões, sendo 60% do valor garantido pelo banco BMG.

Os 41.800 lugares na arquibancada, disponibilizados aos torcedores que frequentarem o estádio, serão divididos em 12 setores, sendo dois deles designados à ‘geral’, com preços mais baixos. A intenção do clube é mandar seus jogos na arena, além de alugar o espaço para shows, feiras e outros eventos, para arrecadar verbas para seus cofres. O local ainda contará com 36 camarotes de 898 lugares no total, 3.645 lugares VIP/louge, 46 bares e dois restaurantes.

O Atlético-MG espera uma média de público de 23 mil torcedores no ano de inauguração do estádio e 24 mil nas temporadas seguintes. A pretensão do clube é estabelecer o valor médio do ingresso a R$ 43,26. Caso saia como esperado, o Galo poderá arrecadar R$ 27 milhões logo no primeiro ano.

O QUE TEM PELA FRENTE

Após a aprovação do Conselho Deliberativo, a diretoria atleticana encaminhará um projeto de lei para a Câmara Municipal de Belo Horizonte e deve aguardar pelo parecer do Conselho Municipal de Meio Ambiente (Comam) para dar continuidade ao projeto. A aprovação também depende da votação das secretarias municipais e membros como BHTrans e Sudecap para obter o licenciamento ambiental do local.

As obras só serão iniciadas quando a Secretaria de Regulação Urbana avaliar o planejamento e liberar o alvará de construção. Com os documentos em mãos, o clube poderá começar as obras, que tem previsão de duração para até 30 meses.

Para administrar seu próprio estádio, a diretoria do Atlético-MG se inspira na história da Juventus (ITA). Desde a inauguração do Allianz Stadium, localizado em Turim, Piemonte (ITA), o clube passou a receber mais torcedores em seus jogos e viu seus lucros aumentarem consideravelmente. Além disso, a equipe conquistou seis títulos nacionais nos últimos seis anos e o Galo espera ter a mesma sorte aqui pelo Brasil.

The Verdict: Big boost for Leeds

Firpo may not have set the world alight yet for Leeds but his return is an undoubted boost, with his left foot bringing a natural balance to the side, as Mills alludes to.

Dallas will always do a job but the former Barcelona man can offer more natural attacking thrust from left-back and could give the Whites an extra attacking dimension at Spurs, having averaged one key pass per game in the league this season.

It is a further sign that Leeds’ injury problems are easing, and the sooner they can have their strongest team available, the faster they will hopefully rise up the table.

With this match in mind, one player that should definitely be in Ismael’s starting XI for this match is defender Kyle Bartley, who is currently earning a weekly wage of £15k-per-week at The Hawthorns according to Salary Sport.

Taking into account how Dara O’Shea is still out with an ankle injury and the fact that Kean Bryan has now been ruled out for the rest of the season through injury, this should make it an easy decision for Ismael to give Bartley a place in the team for the match against the Yorkshire club.

As well as this performance against Middlesbrough off the substitutes bench that earned him an overall match rating of 7.4/10 from SofaScore, making him the highest-rated Baggies player on the day, Bartley has managed to prove himself as a solid defender for the team throughout the current season with an average of 4.4 clearances per game in the league under his belt, as well as winning 65% of duels he’s been involved in, further proving why he should be in the starting XI to face Huddersfield.

With the match against Carlos Corberan’s team in sight this weekend, while Ismael may have little choice but to play Bartley, who has been praised for having an “unbelievable” attitude by the Baggies boss, as a result of their current defensive injury issues, the player has very much earned the right be in the starting XI on this occasion through merit.

However, if Bartley does play against Huddersfield, he will have to make sure he doesn’t pick up a yellow card in the match or else he will receive a ban as it would be his fifth of the season.

Ashley Preece believes that Aston Villa should go big for Yves Bissouma in the January transfer window.

What’s been said?

In a recent article for Birmingham Live, Preece stated his belief that, following the Brighton midfielder’s dominant display despite his team’s 2-0 loss at Villa Park on Saturday, the 25-year-old is a player who Steven Gerrard, Johan Lange and Christian Purslow should be looking to sign in the upcoming winter market.

In his piece, the journalist wrote: “What a signing Yves Bissouma would be for Villa. The Malian just oozed class on Saturday. ‘He’s a proper player,’ was what my colleague said to me moments in, with Bissouma dribbling past three Villa shirts before starting a Brighton attack.

“Under the watchful eye of Gerrard, his coaches and transfer chief Johan Lange in the directors’ box, Villa could do a lot worse than to raid Brighton and go big on Bissouma who, by the way, has just 19 months left on his current deal. You’d imagine he’d cost around the £30million-plus mark, which is not bad for a player who does all the right things.”

He’d be a huge coup

Considering that Bissoma has been linked with moves to clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur this year, it would be a rather huge coup for Gerrard if Aston Villa indeed go on to seal a deal for the 25-year-old in January.

As Preece suggests, it would very much appear to be a move worth pursuing, as the Mali international has continually wowed at the Amex Stadium since his move to the south coast back in 2018.

Indeed, over his eight Premier League appearances so far this season, the £22.5m-rated maestro has made an impressive average of 2.1 interceptions and 3.8 tackles – the third and joint-most respectively out of all Premier League players in the current campaign – and won 6.6 duels per game.

These returns have seen the £25k-per-week midfielder average a SofaScore match rating of 7.17, ranking him as Graham Potter’s fourth-best performer in the top flight of English football.

Indeed, when comparing his seasonal returns to that of Marvelous Nakamba, his opposite number on Saturday, the Brighton man beats the 27-year-old hands down, with the Villa midfielder averaging a SofaScore match rating of just 6.56 so far this season.

As such, with Preece suggesting that Bissouma would be available for a fee of around £30m this winter, it would seem highly advisable for Lange to do all he can to secure a deal for the Seagulls star, as the midfielder’s signing could help to fire Villa towards the European places in the Premier League table come next May.

O Coritiba esteve na frente do placar duas vezes, e ambos os gols foram com a bola na marca da cal. Kleber cobrou rasteiro, no canto direito, e Gatito ficou no meio. Já Henrique Almeida bateu à meia altura, no lado esquerdo do goleiro, que caiu para a direita. Carli, que cometeu as duas faltas capitais, fez o gol do segundo empate.

Foi uma vitória fácil do Botafogo. Já estava 3 a 0 e só no fim da partida que Richarlison, de pênalti, diminuiu a contagem. O chute rasteiro foi forte, no canto direito do goleiro alvinegro, que acertou o lado, mas não chegou a tempo de fazer a defesa.​
